Dear Danny, the phrase that is helping me these days, is: “We have to give ourselves some grace.” When I notice the inner critic going at it because I’m not young and energetic like I used to be, I remind myself to gimme some grace. Hope it helps. Love you!
Hi Danny, I can really relate to this post. I have written some of these exact same words in my own journal, especially the parts about not doing the drawing and writing that shft my mind into a healthier perspective. Thanks for the reminders to keep it real!
Sending you a big virtual hug, from someone else who needs to take more care. Always love reading your essays, you always inspire me, and we never know what even a moment in the future holds, but we can do our very best, with the support of lovely souls, in the present xx
If you take any of the shots? It’s called a stroke poke ….a clot shot for a reason. Be very careful pushing your heart rate up too high…. better if you do low level, steady state heart rate ….no intervals no pushing up to the limits. They had major hearings again this past week in Ottawa, with even further evidence of how dangerous the shots were & the media and doctors covered all of it up so of course no one would hear about it ….luckily certain batch numbers were innocuous so some people received perhaps saline or a dead batch..(you can look up batch numbers online, but who would want to?… most prefer not to know)…. I made sure not one person in my family took that bioweapon designed by DARPA, US military…..never trust drugs by people that were pushing it that were all visitors on Epstein Island. It’s one big evil club.
My husband refused to see a doc. He was certain that daily vitamin c and a walk would ward off all demons including death. So that morning last year that he collapsed into my arms in heart failure there was truly nothing I could do. All the alcohol he consumed trumped my healthy food prep and rejected requests to take care of himself. My kids and I work harder to take care of not just self, but we look out for each other now. Death is a part of life, yes. But we can honor one another as best we can in this life. Caring for self is an act of caring for your loved ones. CPR will only go so far. I’m trying to start painting again.

Thank you so much Danny😘
You are an inspiration. Take care of yourself. You inspire me to do same,
We have to try not to beat ourselves up for having been ourselves up in the past too
This could be me. Never kind enough to ourselves! Thanks, and know it's not just you...
When you reveal this much about yourself, do you know what happens???!!! It lets me reveal more about myself to myself.
So thank you!
This is what I needed to read today. Also loved the bandaid collage.

As always, I'm deeply inspired by your honesty and insights. Thank you Danny!
I enjoyed your honesty! Aging brings challenges and the brain is a tricky beast. Got to sketch everyday, even for 20 minutes, like my wife.
Have a wonderful day Danny. Your writing often brings me insight and joy. I love the way you teach and write. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing, it helps!

Danny, I used to draw a lot also. How are you making your way back to drawing again?
