Just found you having found sketchbook skool following a need to focus on drawing and creative instead of “doom scrolling”. Retired back end of February, early due to burnout. It’s really changed my perspective and being distanced from the relentless pressure of hosting amazing christmases I associate with some former work colleagues has been a boon, feel calmer, less overwhelmed and had time to make all my close family something special to them - more appreciated than something random off the shelf. Thank you for sharing. Can't really imaging doing the Yin thing, but I have gotten old enough to savor the specialness of the season and ignore the craziness (while deploring its permeation of much of the world). You are sharing good thoughts and ideas.
It would be fun to have more of the neighborhood pub culture where we could relax with friends and then relax at home as well.

We are moving (again) to a new place where I believe I will have more time for myself and more room to make art. I recently gave a dear friend the gift that you gave me so long ago: to just draw something every morning ☕. May your new year bathe you in a parasympathetic glow 🙏
