Being sensitive can be a gift and a curse at times. I try to see it as a gift because it allows us to see/feel things others don’t and bring them to life on the page for all to see. At times we have to shut down and heal to come back again. Thank you for this essay on being sensitive! 💜💜💜

My mother always said to me, “You’re so sensitive.” Over and over. Like I would snap out of it. No can do.

Maybe the sensitive are like orchids and the rest like dandelions....one needs careful, gentle treatment to thrive.... the other will manage, whatever the conditions.

yes, our world has changed, be aware, but, be strong, careful, and wear your sunscreens

Danny any time you’ve written about living as a sensitive individual you’ve made me feel less alone. Thank you for that.

I soooo relate!

Been a sensitive pain in the ass to insensitive friends and relatives all of my life...and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Yes more pain...and pleasure!

I had a wonderful teacher in grade 6 & 7 who told me that being sensitive is a gift, that it is a superpower to be able to notice everything and to feel the full range of emotions and expressions. He said the key was to remember that when things got overwhelming and hard, and I do.

Thanks Danny this is So timely, I’m going to reread this again. Too much going on in my head, hard to know what is real or not, I guess it is a reflection of the chaos in the world.
