Hi Danny, it’s me again. I swear, for me navigating this site makes me feel like Alice in Wonderland. Is it just me? Anyway, I love your essay about perfectionism. I have no longer any time to be a perfectionist. I’ll be 81 in 3 weeks, so my time is most valuable. It’s all about getting my art out there. What does my art want to say to the world. And retire? NEVER!
I wish there was a "love" button on this to click instead of just a "like". I may frame this to hang over my desk or at least frame the sculpture picture as a reminder. It has taken me 76 years to realize there are only a few things I create where "good enough" really matters. Wisdom to know the difference and enjoyment of life is the balance.
Genau das ist der Punkt! Perfektion ist langweilig.
I agree, need a love button. Yours words really help us make sense of our struggles. Thanks for the nudge. 😉
Keep your flaws; they make you interesting.
Just what I needed to hear at this moment as I commit to doing one watercolor a day for the month of July. It’s Watercolor month! Thanks, Danny

You couldn’t have said it better. Especially when an example is included which says it all. There is no perfect. Maybe in nature.
Trying to achieve perfection seems to waste time that you could use for a new art work!
